Tutoring FAQ
How does your tutoring program work?
During your initial consultation, a customized plan will be created and put in place that will help to close any knowledge gaps. This program will be unique to each individual student. Once caught up, the tutor will pre-teach upcoming concepts so that the student feels confident during class time.
What about the work that’s being done in class?
Our tutors will also support whatever concepts are being taught in class.
What subjects do your tutors support?
Niteo’s highly qualified teachers and tutors can teach a wide variety of subject areas. Give us a call to see how we can best support your child.
Does Niteo offer test prep?
Yes we provide test prep for a variety of entrance exams and standardized tests, such as ACT, SAT®, MCAT, and many others.
Does Niteo offer ESL support?
Yes we have many CELTA and TESL certified teachers who can help with English Language Learners.
How often should I arrange sessions with my tutor?
Usually 1 or 2 sessions per week is sufficient, but this can vary from student to student. We’ll be able to recommend a specific program during your initial consultation.
Are tutoring sessions held in person or online?
Both! Our tutors can meet with you face to face or virtually using our online tutoring application.
I think I would like a new tutor. Can that be arranged?
Having the right teacher makes all the difference. If for any reason you would like to change teachers, give us a call to discuss your needs.
Does Niteo have a location?
No, all Niteo classes and tutoring sessions are held at your home (with an adult present) or at a location that is convenient for you.
