LISA HINES, BMath, BEd, MDiv, OCT

Lisa Hines, an Ontario Certified Teacher, has taught Computer Science and math for over 14 years.  While her focus is primarily working with high school students, she has worked with children ranging from kindergarten to post-secondary throughout Ontario and Cambodia, in both traditional and extracurricular settings. 

Lisa obtained her BMath (Computer Science) from the University of Waterloo, in a joint BEd program with Queen’s University.  She also earned her Honour Specialist Certification in Math from Queen’s University. In addition, Lisa works as a Registered Psychotherapist, helping clients with various mental health challenges.

On top of working with her private students, Lisa runs a Python Coding class as well as Niteo’s Math Transitions program.  Lisa has a passion to see all students build confidence and mastery in math.  She loves to help students work to their strengths and strengthen the skills that they find challenging.
